Dear St. Alban’s friends and family,
Blessings abound in our beautiful St. Alban’s community, especially this year with the Rev. Omar Reyes, our new rector, leading our spiritual journey.
This year’s Annual Giving theme, sowing seeds for our future, planting seeds for our growth comes from the Passage in Luke 13:18-19
He said, therefore, ‘What is the kingdom of God like? And to what should I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in the garden; it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.’
Here we have seen how God has grown our ministries to the larger community, for example.
Over these past few years of uncertainty and change, the consistent financial support for St. Alban’s by you has enabled us to continue to fulfill our mission by serving those within our church family and those within the wider community and we are very thankful for your generosity. As we begin this year’s Sowing seeds for our future, Planting seeds for our growth Annual Giving campaign, we hope we can count on your support again.
Included with this mailing is a pledge card for 2023, please return it by November 27th. Prayerfully consider the amount you pledge financially so that St. Alban’s can continue its work of following Jesus into a loving, liberating, and life-giving relationship with God. We have come far over the past few years and now eagerly look forward to the future and to sustaining and growing the church that is our spiritual home. With your support, we will no doubt see the ways in which God will continue to grow our church.
Faithfully,
Your Vestry and Father Omar Reyes
